What is one thing you have done that has influenced the direction of your business?
One thing I have done that has influenced the direction or my business is being part of a mastermind group. This allows me to get feedback from peers and a coach that helps me see things from other perspectives, gives me encouragement, constructive feedback, and ideas I would not necessarily have come up with myself, as well as allow me a have a community of peers for emotional support and who can appreciate the ups and downs of a solo business.
What inspired you to start your business?
I taught myself to crochet when I was pregnant with my 3rd child, and learned so I could make things for my kids. I loved crocheting right from the start and was constantly making new projects. Someone suggested that I start an Etsy shop and I decided to go for it! My business has seen several evolutions over the years, but that’s what got me started in the first place!
What type of collaborations are you looking for?
I am open to a lot of different collaborations. I have found that working in concert with others has been extremely beneficial to my business and rewarding to work with other amazing creators and business owners too!
I am interested in collaborating with fiber art supply companies doing sponsored posts and promotions. I am interested in working with other crocheters and designers on collaborative projects and events. I am interested in working with other support businesses as I grow new avenues of my business.
What is your superpower?
Unfailing persistence and creativity.
What is something in life that makes you smile 🙂?
My kids, my cats, colorful art and nature.
